Authentic houses are free situated fully equiped,first floor spacious living room with open kitchen with exit to big terrace, second floor separate bed rooms with double and single beds for maximum 6 persons, bathroom, toilet. bed linnen, towls, micro wave,furnace, coffee machine etc. There are wood burners , electric and gas boilers, video's, dvd, radio. No reception for tv, good reception for mobile phones

| detailed description of town and location: | The area Ponta do Pargo lies in the extreme west of the flower island Madeira. Very calm villages with small farmers growing potatoes, mais, sweet potatoes, onions. Meadows for the cows. The houses are situated in a small village Lombada Velha not far from the village Salao where you can find Pharmacy, doctor post, small super markets, restaurants, post office and a community building with 30 minutes free internet.
From the houses you can start the famous "levada walks". Levada's are irrigation canals all around the island. Within 30 minutes by car you can visit the south villages with beaches, harbours, with excursions to dolphins and wales. The north of the island with natural swimming pools and caves are also 30 minutes by car. the climate is very mild with cool summers around 19 till 21oC and mild winters around 14-17 oC |
