| detailed description of town and location: | Fornalutx ist ein zauberhaftes Dorf mit einigen Restaurants, Hotels, zwei Banken, einem gut sortierten Supermarkt, Apotheke, Bäckerei und einer katholischen Kirche. Die direkte Umgebung im Tramuntanagebirge bietet zahlreiche Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Gut trainierte Mountainbikefahrer finden hier diverse Herausforderungen. Der nächste Strand in Porto de Soller ist knapp zehn Autominuten entfernt. In dem Hafenstädtchen finden sich viele gastronomische Betriebe. Sóller ist die nächste größere Stadt mit diversen Geschäften, Restaurants, Bars und Dienstleistern. Dort befindet sich auch der Bahnhof, von wo aus man über eine malerische Bergstrecke nach Palma fahren kann. |
