detailed description of town and location: Officially Eastside, the house is in the area know as Commercial Drive, "The Drive" considered Vancouver's 'Little Italy' with its cosmopolitan mix of Bohemian Trendy through punk and grunge to residents and visitors. Located just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown it provides a more gentle, quieter way of life, but offers easy access to downtown and most other areas of interest.

The immediate area has local individually owned convenience shops, grocery stores, pubs and restaurants, then a supermarket, Banks, Drug, and a Dollar store. Further away on the drive, towards 1st Avenue, a plethora of coffee shops, a few clothing, furniture stores and many more restaurants serving a variety of ethnic food. Good eats!

The whole area can be walked easily, nothing is very far away.

By car about 15 minutes to the city center, 20 mins to the airport and Richmond, and about 35mins to / from the U.S. Border. Whistler is 1.5 to 2 hours depending on weather and traffic.
