| detailed description of town and location: | Williams Lake is located 45KM South of the Luxury Cottage and 6 hours north of Vancouver and is a full amenities town with a major hospital, regional airport and all the amenities of a large town. Williams Lake is home of the Williams Lake Stampede which is a major North American Rodeo. The theme of the countryside is old Western and Wilderness and the hundreds of lakes nearby make for wonderful fishing as well as great hunting. It is a region of unlimited summer and winter sports or if you wish simply relax by a the lake and read a great book!
