Die riesige, 7000 m² große Gartenfläche, erstreckt sich wie ein wunderbarer Erlebnisgarten, der besonders für Kinder ein unvergessliches Erlebnis ist. Die Häuser sind ca. 8 km vom Strand entfernt und du bist schnell im Meer. Selianitika heißt das Nachbardorf am Meer und dort gibt es alles, was ein Urlauber braucht. Supermärkte, diverse andere Shops, Fisch-Restaurants, Tavernen, gemütliche Plätze und Snack-Bars für Eilige. Man sieht hier hauptsächlich Touristen aus Griechenland, daher wird hier auch niemand geneppt. Es herrscht eine angenehme Atmosphäre am Abend, kein Ballermann aber auch keine Langweile. Die Restaurants und Lokale reihen sich entlang des schönen Strands, das Meer ist glasklar und das Wetter europäisch. Heiß am Tag und angenehm kühl in der Nacht. Alte Männer sitzen vor und in den Tavernen und diskutieren oder spielen Karten, wie man sie sonst nur noch von Ansichtskarten her kennt.

| detailed description of town and location: | Kommst du in Patras mit der Fähre an, fährst du Richtung Athen. Kommst du am Flughafen in Athen an, fährst du Richtung Korinth - Patras. Du verlässt die Autobahn, egal von welcher Richtung kommend, bei Selianitikia. Selianitika liegt 35 km (von Athen kommend) vor, bzw. ( mit der Fähre kommend) nach Patras. Es gibt eine eigene Autobahnabfahrt. Du fährst von der Autobahn ab und fährst rechts in den Ort hinein. Vor der Tankstelle (Avin), die an der Hauptstrasse liegt, warte ich, sofern ich da bin oder der Hausverwalter auf dich und führt dich zum Haus. Er zeigt dir dort alles was du wissen musst. Er ist deine Ansprechperson während deines Urlaubs. Er ist Schweizer und spricht neben Deutsch auch Französisch, Italienisch und Griechisch.
