Easy to reach by public transport. By train to Brig, direct connection by post bus to Blatten and by cable car to Erich/Tschuggen. In summer by car to the chalet (covered parking space).
In winter, the road is closed for cars. You park in Blatten and take the cable car to Erich/Tschuggen (like public transport). Transport for luggage can be booked on www.belalp.ch.

Tschuggen is a good starting point to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, to skiing on the Belalp or even to shopping in nearby Milan. There is an adventure playground, a table tennis table and many hiking routes lead right past. In Blatten there is mini-golf, a climbing park, a paddling pond, a playground and restaurants. On Belalp there are magnificent views, mountain streams to dam up, places to stop and fantastic hiking up to the Aletsch glacier and beyond. There are opportunities for climbing and hiking, mountain-troti riding, bike trails, paragliding, thermal bathing, sightseeing (e.g. the Stockalperpalast). And in winter, of course, sledging and skiing or snowboarding up to over 3100 metres.

The Massa Gorge, the canyoning Eldorado of Switzerland, is also part of the programme! Insider tip: Glacier tour to or on the largest Swiss glacier. Many mountain huts can be reached on one-day or multi-day tours, and mountain fanatics can even make it to the Jungfraujoch. Here is the most direct route to the first view over the Belalp or to the Aletsch Glacier and Riederalp!
