A fresh, newly built house on the west coast with a wonderful nature environment, on the island of Stenungsön, with a bridge connection to Stenungsund. The house is located in the uniquely beautiful, sparsely populated south of the island. It is located in a sheltered and secluded area by the forest and sea, but only 5 minutes by car to the municipality Stenungsund.

The house has an area of about 55 square meters in one floor.

It has two rooms, which both have floor heating as well as an air-conditioning unit. One bedroom with double bed (195 cm wide and can be separated into 2 single beds). In the larger living room, a double bed (180cm wide and can be separated), a sofa group and foldable dining table. In both rooms are solid mirror wardrobes. The living room has WiFi (fiber) and TV (47-inch) with Viasat channels and free European channels. The kitchen department has a kitchenette with stove and fridge, a bigger fridge-freezer, a microwave oven, a convection oven and a dishwasher as well as kitchen cabinets för the household.

The toilet room has a WC and a shower.

A separate room has a washing machine and dryer and an additional high fridge/freezer. It is also a possibility for an additional toilet and shower if necessary.

There is one terrace just outside the kitchen with a garden table and chairs and an awning above. There is another terrace under roof also with chairs and table. You can see the sea from both. A grill is available.

Parking space for the car is available just at the side of the house, but not infringing on the views from the house.

On our property, which is about 30000 square meters in size including forest and private beaches, there are bathing and playing opportunities for children. There is also a jetty with a bathing ladder from which adults can take a swim in deep water.

At our jetty lie boats of different sizes which can be rented. If you are interested, it is important, that you book early to ensure that the selected boat is available for you during your stay.

In direct connection to our property there is a nature reserve. Close to a park with a wonderful walk over a jetty to a small island with very varying vegetation. There is also a hilly loop of about 3 km for walks or jogging, with great views of Hakefjorden and the Tjörn bridges. In the reserve there is also a common bathing area with diving tower etc., within about 5 minutes’ walk from the house.

Those who like fishing has come to the right place. Here is said that we have one of the best fishing places in Europe, particularly for salmon trout and mackerel etc. Fishing is done by spinning from the rocks nearby or from boat.

At about 10 minutes walking distance there is a famous high class hotel named Stenungsbaden Yacht Hotel (recently received price for best Wellness hotel in Europe), which has many available facilities, like restaurants, night club and a newly built sophisticated spa (relax and gym) etc with reasonable prices.

In 5 minutes by car you can reach the village Stenungsund with all its shopping facilities for food, clothing, fishing equipment, literature etc etc. as well as a number of restaurants.

Svartedalen, a large wild nature park with wild forests and many lakes is reached 15 km ahead. There are many walking trails to choose from.

You live here in the centre of the province of Bohuslän, which is the heart of the Swedish West coast. It is rather close to reach famous picturesque fishing villages like Rönnäng, Skärhamn, Åstol, Dyrön, Kyrkesund, Mollösund, Gullholmen, Ellös and also relatively close to bigger villages beyond Stenungsund, such as Kungälv (30 min), Marstrand (40 min), Gothenburg (40 min) and Uddevalla (40 min). Kungälv and Gothenburg can, apart from car, be reached by either train or bus from Stenungsön/Stenungsund.

In Gothenburg there is i.e Liseberg, the biggest Nordic amusement park and Universeum, displaying science and experience about the whole world and the space.

There are quite a few biking routes mapped out around the islands Tjörn and Orust and in Stenungsund.

1. We can rent out motorboats (four-stroke stern spinner with electric start) with different engine strengths (8Hp, 20Hp and 50Hp) and canoes (1 two-man canoe and 1 one-man canoe). Further information can be provided upon request. If you are interested, it is advisable to book your selected boat early, so that it is available for you at your stay.

2. We can also book a cleaning company for cleaning when you move out. You then need to depart no later than 10:00. Please book before you arrive.

3. Sheets, pillowcases and towels can be rented out at a cost of 20 Euro/Person. Please book before you arrive
