La Petite Rose cottage is a fairy tale cottage! It has a large living room with kitchen, fireplace and 3 stairs up to the 1 bedroom with ensuite bathroom. This holiday house is completely equipped with everything you need: kitchen appliances and dishes, TV, DVD, Wifi, all linens and towels. A perfect romantic getaway for a couple or a family with small children (sofa sleeper for 2 or crib available).
Outside there is something for everyone: gardens, terraces, heated swimming pool with sun loungers, badminton, toys, games, ping pong, children's play area and an indoor recreation room with billiard table, tv with videos etc... after a day of touring the sites it is easy to relax here and everyone is happy!

Food! the Perigord is famous for the food! everything is fresh from the farm and Parisians will travel to this region for the food and the Bordeaux wines!
You can visit local farms for pate de foie gras, goat cheese, etc...

Walk 1km down the country lane, past the grazing cows, to get to all your supplies. Bakery, bar/restaurants, bank, supermarket, pharmacy, office of tourism, post, and medical center are all within 2km!
The medieval town of Hautefort and it's magnificent castle is only 2km!
This castle is considered the "most beautiful" in the Dordogne, as it is not the usual fortress style of the other 1000 castles! You could visit 2 castles a day and still not see them all! Nearby are the caves of Lascaux and Font de Gaum where you can see croMagnon man cave paintings. Amazing! and throughout the Dordogne there are lovelystone medieval villages that look like they did 200 years ago!
There is a reason films are made here! it's like a movie set of the middleages!
