In the Dordogne, right on the border with Haute-Vienne, there are "Liabaquet gîtes et camping". Here you can spend the night on a former French farm in a cosy cottage or on the mini campsite.

Liabaquet is characterized by its space and tranquility. During the day you are in the company of many birds and a small flock of sheep, in the evening you can enjoy a beautiful starry sky while the crickets and frogs do their best. The sunset can be spectacular and is different every night.

Our étang, which includes beautiful water lilies, carp and other fish, is a wonderful place to reflect, but also a challenge for the anglers.

In the hilly green landscape, where forests and meadows alternate, the many cows of the Limousin and the small winding roads immediately give you a holiday feeling.

Besides a pleasant stay, Liabaquet can be your starting point to visit a large part of the Dordogne and Haute-Vienne. Outside the big cities like Périgueux and Limoges, there are many castles, walking and cycling routes and many other activities and attractions.

Therefore we would like to welcome you at Liabaquet.
The hostels,

are both comfortable and tastefully furnished and are located in one of the old stables. They are both suitable for 4 persons. It is possible to add a toddler/baby bed.

Each gîte has its own garden area with garden furniture, picnic table and parasol. Benches and picnic tables can also be used elsewhere on the property. There is always a place where you can have breakfast in the sun or enjoy a book in the shade. The layout of Liabaquet takes into account the peace and privacy of all guests, the gîtes are located at a great distance from the mini-campsite and have their own parking space.
The gîtes have a living room with open kitchen. It is equipped with a 4-burner gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave and electric kettle. There is also a toilet on the ground floor.

If it is a little cooler, for example in the early or late season, both gîtes have a wood-burning stove.
On the first floor are the bedrooms. One with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a second toilet.

The gîtes have Wi-Fi and a television.

Unfortunately pets are not allowed in our gîtes and smoking is not allowed in our gîtes.
At Liabaquet, a washing machine and dryer are available for general use for a small fee.



For a small fee you can rent a baby/infant bed, playpen, high chair and bathtub in the gîtes.

Liabaquet is located in the Dordogne, between the large cities of Perigueux and Limoges. Nearby you will find the villages of Jumilhac le Grand (6 km) and Lanouaille (8 km), each with a bakery, a butcher, some restaurants and a small supermarket. In the town of Saint Yrieix La Perche (9 km) you will find several large supermarkets and other shops. There is a bi-weekly market and in July and August every Thursday evening a food market. Here you can buy and eat local products at comfortable, long tables.
You will also find many walking and cycling routes and various possibilities for cultural or sporting excursions.
