Our historic three-sided farmhouse is located in the heart of Steinhöfel, ideally accessible via the central village street. A beautiful vacation apartment with its own access via a spiral staircase leading to the balcony - and a view of the castle. We have woken old floorboards from their slumber, sanded and oiled them by hand so that the apartment radiates the warmth of wood. A large eat-in kitchen adjoins the living area. The fireplace spreads comfort in cool temperatures.
The accommodation
The bedroom has a box-spring bed (king size) with a bed base, reading lamps and a chest of drawers for clothes. A narrow door leads from here to the children's den with bunk beds. In the living room there is a large couch in front of a Smart TV and fireplace, which can also be used as a sleeping area (140×200) - although we recommend a maximum occupancy of 4 people. We have installed a spacious kitchen with a wooden worktop and a wooden counter as a dining area - fully equipped with a large fridge and wine rack. A bright bathroom with built-in shelves made from old floorboards and a bathtub provides an extra wellness factor. Towels, soap/shampoo and bed linen are provided for all guests.

The private balcony offers sunny seating. In the inner courtyard there are also seats with tree shading available to all guests, as well as a fire bowl, which can be used after consultation with us.

In our farm store, many of our own groceries and those of local producers are available around the clock. Access is via the same door code as for the accommodation - this will be sent to you by email and SMS one day before your arrival.

We heat in accordance with the recommendations of the Federal Environment Agency. You are welcome to light the fireplace for 5€/box of wood.
Access for guests
A separate entrance guarantees our guests maximum privacy. The apartment is located on the 1st floor and is for exclusive use. A parking space is available on the meadow - if you have more than one car, please use the parking spaces opposite the church.
Further important information
Our courtyard is 130 years old, partly with historic paving in the inner courtyard. Access is via a spiral staircase. Therefore, the apartment is unfortunately not suitable for guests who have difficulty walking.

Steinhöfel still has everything a village needs: a supermarket with a post office, a real castle, a doctor's surgery and a fire department. The historic church opposite rings out the hours, the rooster crows on the neighbor's farm. The swimming lake in Heinersdorf is just 7 km away, Fürstenwalde is 10 minutes away and the fashionable town of Bad Saarow on Scharmützelsee is 30 minutes away.
