B & B Villa Lavanda in the slightly hilly countryside of Apulia, where the fields are separated by dry stonewalls and you see Trulli in the fields and farmhouses.

Rooms and bathrooms are kept very clean and you always have a private bathroom. Room Green Papaya has an en-suite bath with shower, a sitting area and views of the Apulian fields and farms. All rooms have heating and air conditioning.

Rooms at Villa Lavanda are decorated with care and attention to detail. You will also find in your room a basket of utilities (no food) for a picnic, beach towels and beach bag, a dressing gown and slippers, a hair dryer and of course shampoo and shower foam.

Included are: on-site parking, Wi-Fi in and around the house and a full breakfast every morning. No sweet Italian breakfast, but also cheese, cold cuts and eggs. We ask for your wishes. Breakfast is usually served on the covered porch.

On the guest floor, reached via a wide staircase, there is also a lounge for our guests with complimentary tea and coffee, a fridge/DIYbar, and TV with Dutch, Belgian and the international News channels as well as tourist information.

Three porches and very pretty gardens surround the villa and further along the private road there are an antique grain mill and Masseria La Mandra, an Agriturismo where on Sundays you can eat an extensive Apulian lunch.

At 1,5 kms another Masseria with Agriturismo where you can eat on Friday night, Saturdays for lunch and dinner a la carte and on Sundays there's an Apulian lunch with set menu.

Convenient also for the reception centre Masseria Bonelli.

Of course you will get a key to the guest entrance.

Villa Lavanda is smoke free.
On the terraces you can smoke if that doesn’t hinder other guests.

Because we have dogs and cats you cannot bring your pets. We also believe it is too hot anyway in summer to travel with your animals.

The minimum stay is two nights. For a stay of one night only there is a supplement of 10 euros.

Our neighbouring place is Alberobello with its Trulli

Bari with the Basilica of S. Nicola, the beautiful beach promenade, many shops and ferries to Greece, Albania and Croatia. Taranto, with traces of the great Greek empire and Marine Harbour. Known for its fresh fish and mussels.

Martina Franca: the old road from Noci to Martina is brilliant and the place itself lively and cozy at the same time. At the edge of the Itrie Valley. Known for the Lyrical Festival and every 3rd Sunday of the month a very nice antique and flea market. In the Valley towns like Ostuni, the white city and Cisternino.

Lecce, where a lot of Baroque architecture can be found. Matera, the European Capital of Culture 2019. Here were already recorded a lot of movies. Known for its cave dwellings- and churches and many frescoes. Just 45 minutes from Villa Lavanda. Besides many other places of interest, there are also the beaches of the Adriatic and the Ionian Sea. The nearest at 25 minutes. And certainly worth mentioning is the delicious Apulian kitchen, the antipasti and local wines.
